Job Summary : We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Outpatient Biller to join our team on a part-time basis.

The outpatient biller will assist in ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims, as well as follow up on outstanding payments.
Wage : $17.00-$23.00 DOE Key Responsibilities :
- Review and process outpatient billing for various healthcare services.
- Submit insurance claims to payers (private, government, etc.) and follow up on claims to ensure timely reimbursement.
- Ensure proper coding for all services provided, utilizing ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes.
- Communicate with patients regarding billing questions, insurance issues, and payment arrangements.
- Resolve denied or rejected claims and ensure timely resubmission with necessary corrections.
- Track and report on the status of outstanding claims and accounts.
- Work with insurance companies to verify patient coverage and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
- Assist with month-end billing reconciliation and other administrative tasks as assigned.
