A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CARE PARTNER
As a Care Partner, you play a vital role in our community. Without you, we would not be able to fulfill our purpose! You provide total care for our residents, starting with carefully assisting with providing activities of daily living (ADLs) to residents (including washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, walking, transferring, toileting, and oral care). You perform care as defined by resident plan of care / assignment card. With a close eye for detail, you record temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight.
You take great care to observe and report any change in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, and behavior that you find when caring for your residents. You live up to the trust of those in your care by maintaining confidentiality and following Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) requirements as well as upholding our facility policies and procedures. Your warm and friendly demeanor makes it easy for you to provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and your colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CARE PARTNER
Current CPR certification or willing to obtain certification.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPPA regulations.
Desire to work with the elderly.
Experience working as a direct support professional or care giver is preferred, but not required. Are you trustworthy and respectful of others? Is being dependable, professional, and a team player at the heart of all you do? Do you enjoy serving and caring for seniors? Can you easily establish a good rapport with others and communicate effectively? If yes, you might just be perfect for this wellness position!
WORK SCHEDULE
This position works 8-hour shifts,7am to 3pm ; which will include every other weekend and we also have 8-hour shifts 3pm-11am which will include every other weekend.
