Colony Tire located in Fayetteville, North Carolina, is currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused General Manager to join our team in Fayetteville, NC! Summary:
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations and managing all associates within Colony Tires Commercial Service Tire and Auto Shop. This role ensures operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability while maintaining compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily store operations and provide leadership to all associates.
- Recruit, develop, and manage staff, including hiring, performance evaluations, coaching, and terminations, to maintain a productive and efficient work environment
- Maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service and product knowledge.
- Analyze Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, measure business trends, and set objectives to drive revenue and store profitability.
- Manage reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to align with company goals.
- Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels and point-of-sale materials to maximize sales.
- Conduct monthly staff meetings to ensure compliance with company policies, federal and state laws, and industry regulations.
- Maintain safety protocols and lead regular safety meetings to promote a secure work environment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to develop and motivate employees.
- Knowledge of commercial tire and auto service operations, including inventory management and customer service best practices.
- Strong analytical skills to assess financial statements and business performance.
- Ability to resolve customer complaints and employee concerns professionally and efficiently.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including point-of-sale systems, inventory software, and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and other relevant safety regulations.
Experience & Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years of experience managing a tire/auto repair facility.
- A two- or four-year college degree is preferred but not required.
Work Environment:
- The job is typically performed in an indoor environment, but exposure to outdoor weather conditions may occur.
- The employee may be required to stand for long periods while working at the service counter.
- Regular handling and movement of merchandise up to 100 pounds.
