As Inventory / Showroom Manager at Color Art, you have an enormous impact on both the internal AND external client experience. OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE

- Ensure all Color Art owned inventory is accounted for and in show-ready condition
- Take ownership of how your role impacts the overall experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor our manufacturing partner's showroom offers for Workplace, Education and Healthcare products
- Assist in design, layout and selection of new showroom product
- Create, manage and convert quotes (orders) for showroom product
- Assign unique numbers to each new product and assign and track locations
- Coordinate removal, photos, packing, storage and sale / donation of discontinued showroom product
- Proactive communication with "residents" regarding upcoming showroom changes
- Obtain labor and electric quotes and manage the installation of new showroom orders
- Re-launch and enforce the complete demo and test drive processes
- Track product condition and coordinate cleaning, maintenance or replacement
- Ensure demo catalog and inventory reports are current at all times
- Assist with annual inventory audit
- Inventory tagging and movement
- Key member of showroom committee
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Sheets
- Experience with Hedberg Data Systems (Preferred)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
- Able to pivot quickly with shifting demands
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Post-Secondary Degree or Certificate or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years' experience in a professional office or showroom environment
- Experience with Furniture, Installation, Maintenance, Warranty Claims
- Experience in inventory control and/or asset management
- Design software experience helpful
