Baler/Material Handler Operator Job Description:

We currently have an opening for a Baler/Material Handler on 2nd shift (2:00 pm - 10:00 pm), Monday - Friday.

Baler/Material Handler Responsibilities:

- Dumping chip bins into baler

-Tie bales of recycled paper

- Empty recycling bins, baler, and load recycling trailers

- Identify raw material and stage material for die cutting machines

- Aerating pallets for die cutting

- Staging die cuts for folding-gluing

- Moving finished product to shipping

- Operating a powered hand jack as well as a forklift

- Prepare dies and storing for die cutting

- Move WIP and finished goods as required

- Complete all documentation accurately as required

- Comply with all AIB regulations

- Cleaning and general housekeeping of work area

- Understand and follow all safety rules and procedures

- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisor

Material Handler Qualifications:

• Good Attitude
• Willingness to learn and the ability to work as part of a team
• Strong mechanical skills
• Strong problem solving skills
• Forklift experience is required
