Description
Part-time position which reports directly to the Site Director. The core function of the position is doing outreach to the community in a variety of ways - by working with Horizons families, helping to facilitate and manage the CA/Horizons tutoring program with the tutoring coordinator, being in office at least 10 hours a week, student recruitment and registration amongst other duties.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as a liaison between Horizons and Horizons families by doing family outreach, answering questions, replying to emails
- Assist with Super Saturday coordination
- Oversee CA/Horizons tutoring program (on-site at Knapp, virtual with CA upper school students)
- Oversee summer program registration
- Recruit new students and manage the admissions process
- Maintain database and waitlist
- Establish and oversee a parent council
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bilingual Spanish and English
- Experience working with students and families from Title 1 schools
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Successful experience in responding to multiple stakeholders
- Commitment to achieving goals through collaboration and teamwork

The pay for this position is $22.50-$25.00 per hour. Although this is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible compensation at the time of posting, Colorado Academy reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range. Any wage differential that may exist for the position does not relate to sex, gender or gender identity, but relates solely to a seniority system, a merit system, or relevant education, training and/or experience. Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance benefit programs are available, as is a 403(b) retirement plan. Eligibility for all benefit programs is defined by the applicable plan document.
