Here is what the position will look like.   Ensures prompt and accurate entry of provider information and communications into the contract management system and provider contract files as directed. Manages the Provider Contracting department email inbox and assigns all provider inquires, contract and single case agreement requests to Provider Network team members based on each members’ area of focus, prior work with provider, and/or workload. Performs compliance and quality research for provider rate increase requests. Ensures providers requesting to contract receive application instructions and verifies provider state licensure and HCPF enrollment and validation status. Monitors submission of application and reviews for completeness and accuracy. Provides follows up on incomplete application information/documentation, and sends warning and denial letters if complete application information/documentation and/or signed contract is not received within the specified timeframe Prepares and distributes weekly reports to the Provider Contract team pertaining to the status of all contracts in process. Prepares ad hoc provider contracting reports in response to internal and external requests. Assists Contract team in disseminating provider documents including formal letters, emails, faxes, and certified mail. Assists in maintenance of team documents as assigned. Supports and ensures timely responses to all inquiries received from other departments such as Utilization Management, Care Management, Provider Network Services, Claims, Compliance, Finance, Quality, Credentialing, and Configuration. Updates and tracks Provider Contracting expenses within the expense tracking database. Responsible for submitting relevant expenses in a timely manner, and correct coding of team expenses for accounting. Participates in new business or network projects as assigned.     What you will bring:   Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.  Equivalent combination of experience and/or education may substitute with a preference for three years progressive relevant work experience.   Experience: . Minimum two years’ experience in healthcare provider contracting administration. Requires experience with the contracting/credentialing process in a managed care environment. Experience with Medicaid and CHP benefit plans a plus.   Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Solid knowledge of marketing principles and client development skills in a professional service industry setting required.  Demonstrates support for the company’s mission, vision, and values.  Strong verbal and written communication skills including professional proofreading, editing, and presentation skills. Ability to interact with external and internal clients professionally. Ability to work and interact with multiple teams simultaneously and with staff members at all levels in the organization.  Requires excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-task and changing environment.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  May be required to manage multiple priorities and projects with tight deadlines.    Licenses/Certifications:  A valid driver's license and proof of current auto insurance will be required for any position requiring driving.   Together we will be: an innovative and collaborative team who supports each other, the employees and vision of the company to reach our goals individually, together and as an organization.   Pay, Perks and Benefits at Colorado Access: The compensation for this position is $56,850.00 - $64,500.00 annually and is a non-exempt (hourly) position. Colorado Access has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Colorado Access may pay for the position at the time of posting. Colorado Access may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.   In addition to being part of a mission driven organization serving our community, as an eligible Colorado Access employee, you’ll receive a generous benefits package, that includes: Medical, dental, vision insurance that starts the first day of the month following start date.  Supplemental insurance such as critical illness and accidental injury.  Health care and dependent care flexible spending account options. Salary : $56,850 - $64,500
