Position Purpose: Responsible for preparing the antigen used for patient testing and treatment at Colorado Allergy & Asthma Centers under the direction of the Antigen Lab Supervisor. We are looking for a positive, responsible individual to contribute depth & knowledge to our busy practice.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepares patient immunotherapy treatment sets
- Prepares and maintains antigen skin test trays
- Performs inventory for stock antigen
- Operates in compliance with waste disposal policies
- Operates on a computer base program in preparing antigen recipes with accuracy
- Performs duties in compliance with a sterile/and or clean environment
- Performs proficiency quiz and media tests
- Performs duties in a professional manner with a positive attitude, with all personnel
- Works with the team maintaining a quiet and focused atmosphere
- Communicates professionally with physicians, staff, or vendors in assisting with answering questions on immunotherapy policies or procedures
- Perform as Medical Assistant/Clinic Assistant III; Administering and managing immunotherapy if/when deemed necessary
- Maintains high level of focus for details
- Maintains the lab's sterile and quiet environment
- OSHA, HIPAA, COVID and National Lab Compliance adherence at all times
- Other duties as deemed necessary

Prerequisites:
- Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant School or applicable experience and education
- Demonstrated ability to master position functions
- Demonstrates OSHA, HIPAA, COVID and National Lab Compliance adherence at all times
- Proficient in computer skills for word or excel
- High level of accuracy in mathematics
- Required vaccinations, HepB
