Position Purpose: This non-exempt, full-time position will represent CAAC by offering a positive first impression by phone to the patient. Under the direction of the Office Administrative Manager, this position, working with other front office assistants, will be responsible for company-wide phone intake and scheduling utilizing the highest level of customer service. We are looking for a positive, experienced, responsible individual to contribute depth & knowledge to our busy practice.
Responsibilities:
- Help all established and new patients feel welcomed on the phone
- Shows competency in basic computer skills
- Assures patient satisfaction by working as a team member with all personnel

Front Desk Cross-Training duties, to include:
- Check in/check out of patients
- Scheduling appointments
- Processing billing and insurance information
- Showing compliance with insurance regulations
- Demonstrates flexibility, professionalism and a high-level of motivation
- Maintains open communication and a team-oriented work environment with all departments and all levels of personnel
- Takes initiative and is a self-starter
- Performs additional duties as deemed necessary
- OSHA and HIPAA Compliant
- Responsibilities are subject to change at any time based on company needs.

Prerequisites:
- Minimum of one year experience in a medical or business office
- Experience with multiple phone line operations and direction
- Experience with insurance carriers is preferred, but not required
- Bilingual and Allscripts knowledge a plus
- Must have professional references
