Are you an energetic, friendly, and professional individual looking to make a difference in the lives of children and teens? Van With a Plan, a locally owned business specializing in Non-Emergent Medical Transportation for children with special needs, is seeking compassionate van drivers for both part-time and full-time positions. We provide essential transportation for individuals with transportation challenges to and from their ABA therapy sessions.
Position Details:
- Schedule Options:
- Full-Time and Part-Time Opportunities
- Split Shifts Available:
- Morning Shift: 7 AM - 10 AM
- Afternoon Shift: 2 PM - 6 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport or act as an aide for individuals to and from their homes.
- Maintain punctuality and consistency by reporting to work as scheduled.
- Attend training sessions and team meetings as required.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, logging results appropriately.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and ensure the well-being of passengers.
- Report mechanical issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Keep vans clean and well-maintained in appearance.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date transportation records.
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 21 years old.
- Valid Colorado driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Caring and warm demeanor, particularly when interacting with children and teens.
- Strong ability to connect with children and parents from diverse backgrounds.
- Capability to work independently without direct supervision.
- Professionalism in establishing and maintaining relationships with supervisors and coworkers.
- Ability to safely drive large passenger vans.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Must pass a background check.
- Current basic First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to undergo company-sponsored training.
Job Type:
- Full-Time & Part-Time options available
Compensation:
- Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
- Expected Hours: Approximately 20-35 hours per week
- Overtime available
- Performance based bonuses available monthly based on completion of required documentation, attendance, and professionalism.
