Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production teams, ensuring efficient workflow, and maintaining high-quality standards within our facility. This role requires strong leadership skills, some mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Details: 4 days per week (Thursday-Sunday), Hours (TBD)
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production activities and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with Director of Manufacturing on the production schedule and resolve any issues that may arise
- Coordinate HIP batch records
- Initiate deviation reports immediately upon notification
- Maintain operator trainings and qualifications
- Management of incoming raw materials
- Participation in review and revision of company quality program
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas to maintain a clean and safe manufacturing facility.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics and report on performance outcomes
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of proven experience in a supervisory role. Preferably within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Required high school diploma or GED, preferably some college
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and other material handling equipment is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet production demands.
- A strong commitment to safety and quality assurance practices.
