Key Responsibilities:
- Lesson Planning: Assist lead teachers in engaging lesson plans that cater to the developmental needs of infants through 12-year-olds, promoting cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth.
- Curriculum Implementation: Collaborate with co-teachers to execute a dynamic curriculum that aligns with state standards and reflects our commitment to high-quality education.
- Co-Teaching: Work alongside fellow educators to create a supportive and nurturing learning environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
- Child Development: Observe and assess children's progress, providing individualized support and adapting activities to meet diverse learning needs.
- Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on children's progress and encouraging family involvement.
- Safety and Well-being: Ensure a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications:
- Level 2 PDIS preferred
- Experience working with children in a childcare center
- Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.
