The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families, children, and individuals throughout Colorado. The Coalition advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those it serves.
The Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) provides clinical leadership, vision, and direction for multi-disciplinary teams delivering integrated health care, housing, and clinical services to individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The CCO collaborates with the Integrated Health Care and Supportive Housing & Services Executive Team to ensure all Colorado Coalition for the Homeless (CCH) programs deliver consistent, high-quality clinical services. This role includes direct supervision of medical, psychiatric, nursing, dental, and pharmacy leadership within their respective scopes of practice. Additionally, the CCO oversees clinical functions across housing and service programs to ensure quality, evidence-based, and compliant care throughout the organization.

- Provide direct supervision of medical, psychiatric, nursing, dental and pharmacy leadership within their scopes of practice.
- Oversee clinical services in CCH Housing and Services Programs, in collaboration with Integrated Health, Supportive Housing and Community Services Executive Team members.
- Provide direct services to patients/clients for at least four hours per week to remain informed about changing needs.
- Establish clinical care standards across all service delivery locations, ensuring compliance with FQHC, PCMH and federal, state and local guidelines.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures and protocols to ensure consistent, quality and evidence-based care.
- Collaborate and provide strategic oversight to the Integrated Health Leadership team on the planning and execution of Clinical Quality Improvement (CQI) activities to meet clinical objectives, including key performance indicators and HRSA measures.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure the financial sustainability of integrated health care services while maintaining quality care.
- Assist in developing and monitoring the CCH health center budget, ensuring clinical workflows and QI activities enhance patient access and meet fiscal goals.
- Represent CCH on external boards, committees and stakeholder groups to advocate for health care and homelessness solutions.
- Expand service capacity through funding opportunities and participation in grant-writing efforts.
- Create health care programs and educational initiatives responsive to the needs of under-served populations and educate the public on health and homelessness issues.

- Demonstrated knowledge of homelessness issues and sensitivity to under-served populations.
- Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams across multiple service areas and facilities.
- Strong relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of health care accreditation, Medicaid/Medicare regulations and CQI processes.
- Commitment to client-centered care and recovery philosophies.
- Ability to work occasional evening or weekend hours may be required.
- Current Colorado licensure as an MD, DO, NP, PA, DDS, DMD, PharmD, PsyD or LCSW with Board Certification in a clinical specialty or ability to achieve such within six months of hire.
- At least five years of administration experience in a healthcare environment or health clinic operations.
- Proven experience in program development, management and supervision.
- Familiarity with FQHC operations and providing clinical services to marginalized populations.
- Advanced knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare regulations, managed care initiatives and PCMH accreditation is preferred.
