The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families, children, and individuals throughout Colorado. The Coalition advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those it serves.
The Primary Care Physician at the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless (CCH) is responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality health care to individuals experiencing homelessness. This position will be part of a dynamic clinical team, serving across various programs including The Stout Street Health Center, the Recuperative Care Center, Street Medicine, Health Outreach Program (mobile clinic), and satellite clinics. The physician will deliver care using the principles of Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction, and Trauma-Informed Care to support patients in achieving better health outcomes.
This position is located at 2130 Stout Street, Denver, CO 80205, 48th Ave Health Center in Denver CO, and may require travel to other clinical sites within the CCH network.

- Exhibit a positive attitude and a commitment to social justice in all aspects of patient care.
- Utilize Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction, and Trauma-Informed Care principles when working with patients.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
- Medical Degree or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited school of medicine.
- Current licensure or ability to obtain licensure in the State of Colorado as a physician.
- Current DEA licensure
- Completion of an accredited Residency Program in the physician’s specialty.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible status in the physician’s specialty.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Advanced clinical skills in diagnosing, treating, and managing acute and chronic conditions.
- Empathy, strong communication skills, and the ability to deliver culturally competent care.
