Colorado Commercial Services, a Denver based medical cleaning company is seeking ambitious, self-motivated “A” players to fill essential positions in our organization. These positions are essential to the success of the company and are considered heroes in the healthcare community and beyond. They are responsible for daily cleaning operations and protecting patients and staff by preventing the spread of infectious disease.

EVS Area Manager splay a fundamental role in overseeing a specific territory, providing leadership and management oversight to Janitorial EVS Technicians and, in some cases, other on-site supervisors within various facilities. EVS Area Managers work collaboratively with EVS Supervisors and Technicians to ensure the highest quality and cleanliness standards across the board. By championing a strong leadership approach, they drive efficiency, effectiveness, and strategic alignment in their territory, ensuring that EVS service lines consistently meet and exceed expectations.
Primary Responsibilities
EVS Area Manager splay a fundamental role in overseeing a specific territory, providing leadership and management oversight to Janitorial EVS Technicians and, in some cases, other on-site supervisors within various facilities. EVS Area Managers work collaboratively with EVS Supervisors and Technicians to ensure the highest quality and cleanliness standards across the board. By championing a strong leadership approach, they drive efficiency, effectiveness, and strategic alignment in their territory, ensuring that EVS service lines consistently meet and exceed expectations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee and Manage Teams: Directly supervise, manage, and provide leadership to Janitorial EVS Technicians and other supervisory staff within the facilities, ensuring adherence to quality and cleanliness standards.
- Collaborative Cost Management: Work with EVS Supervisors to establish cost savings targets system-wide, with clear assignments and targets.
- Monthly Oversight: Provide monthly reviews and checkpoint reports for all EVS departments within the area.
- Standardization and Savings: Identify opportunities to standardize EVS products and methods, driving reductions in expenses across departments.
- Collaborative Strategic Planning: In collaboration with the Operations team, regularly meet with EVS leadership for updates on system-wide initiatives, exchange best practices, network with colleagues, review performance against industry standards, and support collaborative projects.
- Training and Development: Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure the ongoing education, training, and development of EVS staff aligns with industry-accepted competency standards.
- On-Site Visibility: Ensure a high level of visibility and accessibility within all facilities, supported by a documented monthly schedule.
- Operational Support and Team Synergy: Demonstrates a collaborative spirit by actively participating and providing hands-on assistance during staffing challenges, ensuring uninterrupted service excellence, and fostering a cohesive team environment.
- Facility Support and Resource Management: Demonstrates proactive oversight across multiple facilities, ensuring adequate inventory, seamless linen supply, and consistent support to maintain optimal operational efficiency.
- Leadership and Staff Development: Demonstrated capability to provide clear direction, training, and continuous updates to both technicians and supervisory staff on best practices and processes. Adept at offering constructive feedback, conducting performance evaluations, and collaborating seamlessly with Human Resources to address and navigate both commendations and areas of improvement.
Skills
- Leadership and Communication: Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and build consensus across diverse teams.
- Equipment Mastery: Proficient understanding of EVS floor care equipment.
- Knowledgeable: Strong working knowledge of EVS product and chemical selection based on infection prevention and environmental hygiene best practices.
- Analytical: Ability to comprehend, analyze, and make well-informed decisions.
- Basic Skills: Proficiency in mathematical calculations, balancing and reconciling figures, proper punctuation, spelling, and transcription.
Requirements
- Attention to Detail: Must possess a detail-oriented approach to tasks and responsibilities.
- Valid Driving License: Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean MVR.
- Flexible Availability: Must be available evenings and weekends.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to pull, push, lift, reach, climb, and execute other repetitive motions.
- Language Proficiency: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Basic Computer Competency: Proficiency in fundamental computer skills

Salary compensation $56,485. Eligible for bonus incentive program of up to 10%
