Position Description :
The eMPI Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of patient records across CCMCN’s systems. Leveraging the NextGate solution, this position focuses on identifying and reducing duplicate patient records, improving data quality, and supporting seamless patient identification across 12 million records and multiple data feeds. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of patient demographic data, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams to maintain the highest standards of data accuracy and efficiency. The eMPI Specialist will contribute directly to enhancing patient care and organizational efficiency by optimizing record management processes.
Essential Functions :
- Utilize the NextGate application / solution to identify, analyze, and resolve duplicate or fragmented patient records.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external data sources to standardize and enhance demographic data quality.
- Follow best practices and standard operating procedures for patient matching processes.
- Analyze populations and resolve discrepancies by leveraging tools, algorithms, and system rules.
- Provide regular reports on eMPI performance metrics, duplication rates, and data quality improvements.
- Train team members and other stakeholders on eMPI processes and the NextGate solution as needed.
- Stay informed on industry best practices and advancements related to eMPI systems and data governance.
