Job Title: Lube CDL Driver (Class A)
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dependable Lube CDL Driver with a Class A license to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of vehicles to transport and deliver lubrication products to various job sites and customers. This role requires adherence to safety standards, maintaining vehicle and equipment in top condition, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Delivery:
o Transport and deliver lubrication products to designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
o Load and unload products using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling to avoid spills or contamination.
2. Vehicle Operations:
o Operate Class A vehicles and other assigned equipment in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
o Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation.
o Report any maintenance or mechanical issues promptly to the fleet manager.
3. Safety Compliance:
o Follow all company, state, and federal safety regulations, including the proper handling and transport of hazardous materials (if applicable).
o Ensure all required safety equipment is present, functional, and used appropriately.
4. Customer Interaction:
o Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries.
o Address any concerns or issues on-site and escalate to the appropriate team if necessary.
5. Record Keeping:
o Maintain accurate logs of working hours, deliveries, and inspections as required by DOT regulations.
o Ensure all delivery documentation is completed and submitted promptly.
6. Equipment Maintenance:
o Perform routine maintenance on assigned vehicles and lubrication equipment as needed.
o Keep vehicles clean and organized to uphold the company’s professional image.
Qualifications:
· Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
· Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience.
· Familiarity with lubrication products and equipment is a plus.
· Ability to lift and handle items weighing up to 50 lbs.
· Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety practices.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Work Environment:
· Primarily outdoors with exposure to various weather conditions.
· Frequent lifting, bending, and standing required.
· Work may involve exposure to hazardous materials; proper safety equipment and training will be provided.
