What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lube Driver position at Colorado County Oil?
1. Product Delivery:
Transport and deliver lubrication products to designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
Load and unload products using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling to avoid spills or contamination.
2. Vehicle Operations:
Operate Class A vehicles and other assigned equipment in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Report any maintenance or mechanical issues promptly to the fleet coordinator.
3. Safety Compliance:
Follow all company, state, and federal safety regulations, including the proper handling and transport of hazardous materials (if applicable).
Ensure all required safety equipment is present, functional, and used appropriately.
4. Customer Interaction:
Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries.
Address any concerns or issues on-site and escalate to the appropriate team if necessary.
5. Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate logs of working hours (ELD), deliveries, and inspections as required by DOT regulations.
Ensure all delivery documentation is completed and submitted promptly.
6. Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on assigned vehicles and lubrication equipment as needed.
Keep vehicles clean and organized to uphold the company’s professional image.
