Overview:
We are currently seeking a Night Transport Driver with experience in fuel transportation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safety and reliability, with a strong understanding of fuel transportation regulations and procedures. This position requires the ability to work nights and weekends on a rotating schedule. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive tractor-trailers
- Load and unload
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating vehicles
- Plan routes and ensure timely delivery.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A CDL w/ hazmat & tanker) with appropriate endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 year of experience as a professional driver
- Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents in last 3 years
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work independently and meet delivery deadlines
- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading activities, must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods, work in heat or cold/ climb using 3 points of contact.
