About Beyond Dreams Therapy at Colorado Dream Foundation
Colorado Dream Foundation recognized the urgent need for accessible mental health services within the Denver area and launched our therapeutic services in the fall of 2021 and began doing business as Beyond Dreams Therapy at Colorado Dream Foundation in July 2024. We provide a range of services, including individual and small group therapy, to community members of all ages. Through the use of our client-centered care and the utilization of best practices, we strive to create a supportive environment and envision a Denver where everyone has the opportunity to thrive through affordable and accessible mental health care.
About the Position
The Bilingual Behavioral Health Therapist is a key member of Beyond Dreams Therapy at Colorado Dream Foundation's Clinical Team. They support the behavioral and mental health needs of clients ages four through adulthood, as well as serve as an advocate for all youth and families on their caseload and within the greater Colorado Dream Foundation program. The Bilingual Behavioral Health Therapist will report to the Senior Director of Emotional Wellness and work across the organization to meet the needs of the communities.
The Bilingual Behavioral Health Therapist's primary responsibilities include:
Clinical Service Delivery
- Program Facilitation
- Provide direct therapeutic care and management of clients ages four through adulthood in Spanish and English, by developing and implementing therapeutic treatment plans as well as developing a therapeutic relationship with clients (and families, where applicable) to assist with behavioral health challenges
- Opportunities to collaborate, lead, monitor, and facilitate educational and therapeutic groups for clients and community members
- Collaboration & Feedback
- Collaborate with other Clinical Team members and serve as a liaison with multi-disciplinary team members and external community partners
- Participate in coaching and feedback sessions with the Senior Director of Emotional Wellness to ensure the successful execution of organizational goals
- Data Analysis
- Complete behavioral health assessments for treatment or crisis intervention
- Analyze data and prepare case records, reports, and documentation to ensure compliance with state and federal standards of care
Systems Advocacy
- Partnership Expectations
- Play an active role in the development of strong relationships with local community partners and youth programs in the areas of mental health and wellness
- Client Advocacy
- Develop and execute one-time workshops and ongoing stakeholder learning and development courses through the collaborative planning process with community members
- Organizations Advocacy
- Serve as a resource to the organization's overall mission and values through the recruitment of clients in the program
- Develop and maintain relationships with clinical partners, allowing for the sustainability of the clinical program over time
Other Duties
- Building strong relationships with and among clients
- Participating in Colorado Dream Foundation all-staff training, meetings, and events
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish is required
- Minimum of one year in a clinical setting providing individual or group therapy services preferably in a community mental health setting
- Hold a valid Colorado license in a mental health domain (LCSW, LSW or LPC, LPCC)
- Excellent clinical skills and a thorough understanding of child development and behavior
- Proven ability to individualize and use holistic therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of clients, moving them forward toward the achievement of therapeutic goals
- Awareness of trauma-informed care and experience in embedding the principles into daily work with youth
- Demonstrated belief in Colorado Dream Foundation's mission and values

Salary & Benefits
This position will initially be part-time (non-exempt) with the potential to transition to full-time (exempt) based on caseload.
- Part-time: $29-$35 per hour language differential (up to $2/hour)
- Full-time: $55,000-$70,000 per year language differential (up to $2/hour)
