Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary customer service and patient care, ensuring each individual feels valued and supported throughout their interaction with the practice.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere for refractive patients and visitors, always maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
- Manage incoming calls, schedule consultations, and accurately input and update patient information in the database system.
- Collaborate with the refractive team to optimize patient flow and treatment plans, conducting diagnostic testing and assisting with laser vision correction calculations.
- Conduct thorough patient counseling sessions, addressing needs, financial considerations, and scheduling refractive procedures with sensitivity and expertise.
- Authorize medications, process prior authorizations for medications, and communicate with pharmacies.
- Oversee administrative tasks, including paperwork completion, financial arrangements, and adherence to pre and post-operative instructions for procedure patients.
- Assist with laser vision correction procedures. Laser operation certification training will be provided.
- Maintain inventory of office and procedure room supplies, promptly reporting to management for restocking as needed.
- Contribute to marketing and business development efforts, both internally and externally, to promote the practice's services and enhance patient engagement.
- Adhere to all instructions provided by management, while also proactively identifying areas for process improvement and efficiency optimization.
