Job Summary:
The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Colorado Golf & Turf operation in Grand Junction, ensuring profitability, customer satisfaction, and team success. This includes managing sales, service, parts, rental, and transportation departments, fostering a positive workplace culture, and maintaining operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with a passion for the golf and turf industry and a proven track record in business management.
Typical duties include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage day-to-day operations across all departments.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
- Foster a customer-focused culture by ensuring top-notch service and support.
- Develop a high-performing team, providing coaching and leadership.
- Maintain financial oversight, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense control.
- Oversee inventory management to ensure proper stock levels and product availability.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and community partners.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in management, preferably in retail, dealership, or golf-related industries.
- Demonstrated success in outside sales, including client prospecting, relationship management, and meeting sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills with a history of building and motivating successful teams.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in business management software and tools.
- Knowledge of golf carts, turf equipment, or similar industries is highly preferred.
Pay & Benefits:
- $75,000 annual salary
