We are seeking a fantastic Administrative Medical Assistant to become a part of our crew! You will perform routine clinical and occasional administrative assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. You must be very comfortable on computers, interacting with patients, and love being busy. We have an excellent staff with a great knowledge base to share with you, a cohesive and supportive team that works incredibly well together, and daily opportunities to learn new things. The world of specialty medicine is a very interesting place!

This will be a full-time position, 8:00-4:30, Monday through Friday. The majority of your time will be spent as one of our Medical Assistants, with some cross training on select administrative duties. On an as needed basis, you may be asked to fill in to help cover vacations and/or sick days. Phlebotomy skills are mandatory! Must have excellent typing skills and experience with Office.

Responsibilities: Handle Medical Assistant and MA Admin duties in a timely manner

Perform routine clinical and clerical tasks to support medical staff

Communicate with referring physician's offices

Escort patients to exam rooms

Draw blood and dress wounds as needed

Qualifications: Previous experience in medical assisting and healthcare administration

Solid computer skills (not negotiable)

Strong organizational skills and very personable with patients

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Must understand the importance of attendance and punctuality and the impact on clinical operations
