The Colorado Springs (COS) jetCenter location is seeking a Full-Time Fuel Quality Control (FQC) Supervisor.
The Fuel Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for working with all department managers to ensure Fuel Quality Control operations and compliance is maintained. The FQC Supervisor will oversee fuel load receipt, inspections, audits, maintenance, and overall condition of fuel farms.
Primary Job Responsibilities include:
- Maintain compliance in accordance with all fuel regulating agencies to include but not limited to: ATA 103, NFPA 407, Colorado State Division of Oil and Gas, ASTM1655 and DLA Energy, E1.09, NIST, MIL-STD-1548.
- Work with Maintenance department on all annual filter changes and Millipore testing to complete inspection forms.
- Attend all fuel quality related inspections or audits.
- Verify all fuel farm maintenance is completed and in compliance.
- Work with all departments to verify fuel farms are kept in compliance.
- Maintain all fuel quality checks are completed in current working platform, not to be limited to fuel farms but also refuelers. (i.e. JetQC)
- Work with Line manager in coordinating fuel loads and annual filter changes.
- Fluency with company’s current SPCC plan.
- Maintain performance for department personnel.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with employees and customers.
Requirements
Required Education/Experience/Skills/Abilities:
- Age 18
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 Years of line service tech experience
- Valid Driver’s license, good driving record and reliable transportation
- Ability to communicate effectively both in written and and oral form
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office to include: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Must be a self starter
- Must have demonstrable leadership skills
- Must be a team player, maintain work group focus
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be able to work under pressure - in fast paced enviornment
- Must have a sense of urgency and diligence for completing jobs safely and on time.
- Must have problem solving / conflict resolution skills, but know when to escalate
- Must complete Avfuel part 139 training within 30-days of accepting position
- Must be able to work late nights and early mornings as needed
- Must be able to work in inclement weather
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, security check, motor records check and non-DOT physical, post offer; certain positions may require a credit check.

- Age 21
- Prior FBO experience

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation includes a base salary and competitive benefits package. (Must be full-time to be benefit eligible)
Salary Range
$20-24 per hour, depending on experience/ location
