What are the responsibilities and job description for the Secondary Spanish Teacher position at Colorado Military Academy?
Summary:
You must possess native or near native fluency in Spanish; have good student management skills; work with other team members and administration. ELL experience and Core Knowledge a plus.
Education:
·Teacher requirements for this position include having a Bachelor's Degree and Current Colorado Teaching Degree in Education.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Create a positive and effective school and classroom environment that supports the School's philosophy and goals and meets students' individual needs, supporting differentiated learning.
· Integrate the assessment to design appropriate lesson planning and effective teaching strategies to accommodate diverse student needs and learning styles.
· Maintain accurate attendance and other student records, including report cards, permanent records, etc.
· Assess and report any special needs and/or services the student may require in a timely fashion.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
