CMB is looking for experienced Bartenders to provide our guests with a memorable experience meeting Colorado Mountain Brewery's standards of excellence. You will work in a fast-paced environment to prepare unique craft cocktails according to our menu. This position prepares craft cocktails and is knowledgeable about and sells our craft beer emphasizing a unique Colorado experience. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED is required
- Minimum 2 years of recent bartending experience in a high volume restaurant.
- Must have ServSafe Alcohol Certification prior to hire.
- Knowledge and understanding of rules and regulations regarding Health, Safety, Sanitation and Emergency procedures is required.
- Exceptional guest or customer service skills
- Basic understanding of cash handling.
- Must be able to speak, read and understand English well enough for effective communication.
- Knowledge of computers is preferred.
- Must be free of communicable disease that can be readily transmitted in the workplace
- Must be willing to submit to and pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and criminal background check.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and provide proof upon hire.
DUTIES:
- Perform all opening or closing duties as scheduled to ensure the restaurant is clean and organized.
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcoholic beverages for bar or restaurant guests.
- Interact with curbside & delivery guests, take orders and facilitate the service of food and/or drinks.
- Assess guests’ needs and make recommendations.
- Assist with planning bar menu. Present bar menu.
- Check guests’ identification to ensure they meet legal drinking age.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies as needed.
- Engage with guests in a friendly manner.
- Present and explain menus to assist guests in selecting food/beverages.
- Take orders and communicate them to BOH in a timely manner.
- Serve orders to guests in a timely manner. Check dishes before delivery for accuracy, presentation and temperature.
- Handle issues or concerns appropriately with a calm, positive demeanor. Notify management of all issues or concerns.
- Accept payments in all approved forms.
- Must be honest and forthright in reporting all monies.
- Run food as needed for any guest or staff.
- Required to perform cleaning duties regularly, as needed or as assigned.
- Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that standards and regulations are followed.
- Prioritizes work responsibilities effectively.
