This full-time faculty position will teach a variety of Human Services courses including psychology, mental health, counseling, behavioral health, social services, and if qualified, addiction studies. Special consideration will be given to candidates with experience and knowledge in human services, mental health, counseling, addictions, and/or social services fields in rural communities.
Responsibilities include teaching course load as assigned, evaluating courses and assessing student learning, meeting established course, program and learning outcomes, complying with department guidelines and college policies, maintaining office hours per established standards, developing rapport with students, assisting with academic advising, participating in orientation and registration activities, building and maintaining community partnerships for student application of skills, and engaging in scholarly and creative activities that enhance discipline expertise and improve learning.
Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to working effectively with students, employees, and community members of all backgrounds. Salary range: $77,575.25 - $94,486.59 annual salary depending upon a combination of education and experience.
