Entry Level - Solar Photovoltaic Installer Job Description
Colorado Mountain Solar is seeking a Solar Photovoltaic Installer to join our team. As a Solar Photovoltaic Installer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing solar photovoltaic grid-tied and off-grid systems. Your role will contribute to the growth of renewable energy adoption and help reduce our dependence on traditional energy sources. The ideal candidate will be someone who works well in a team and possesses excellent problem-solving skills. Previous solar experience is not mandatory. We are willing to train the right person.
Solar Photovoltaic Installer Responsibilities –
- Install solar photovoltaic systems on roofs, ground mounts, and other structures, following established installation guidelines and procedures.
- Use and haul heavy equipment, power tools and work in all climates.
- Install and connect solar panels, inverters, and electrical components on the solar side, under electrical and building codes.
- Conduct troubleshooting and repair activities on existing solar systems to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute installation projects, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Maintain accurate records of installation projects, including materials used, labor hours, and any modifications or repairs made.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries.
- Adhere to safety protocols and promote a safe working environment.
Solar Photovoltaic Installer Recommended Skills –
- Strong understanding of solar photovoltaic systems and solar energy principles.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and architectural drawings.
- Familiarity with power tools, electrical meters, and other equipment used in solar installations.
Solar Photovoltaic Installer Required Skills –
