What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Technician position at Colorado Network Staffing Inc?
Summary/Objective
CNS is seeking a Line Technician to improve existing electronic products, equipment, and controls.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Inspecting internal components to include transformers, switches, normal open points, and reclosers
- Performing thermal scans of connections
- Inspecting fault indicators and surge arresters
Essential Functions
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Suite of products for data collection and entry of information into our CC&B system
- Experience in an electric lineman capacity
- Knowledge of safety procedures with electric vaults, transformers, and switch entries
- Ability to walk, climb stairs, bend, squat, write, and type
Physical Demands
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Ability to distinguish various colors of wires and distinguish electronic system sections and wiring.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday, one hour lunch.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)
This position must be able to pass a Federal Background Check.
