Join our team of compassionate Chaplains who embody the mission and philosophy of our Hospice. Our Chaplains provide spiritual, religious, and personal counseling to patients, family members, and staff. Working within the interdisciplinary team, they organize and deliver counseling while respecting confidentiality. Our Chaplains actively contribute to achieving our hospice organization's goals and objectives, collaborating closely with our Case Management team and other interdisciplinary members. They ensure high-quality care and counseling, adhering to hospice, regulatory, and chaplaincy standards, while documenting their impactful work.

COMPENSATION (COLORADO ONLY):

Competitive compensation commensurate with experience and expertise. Our starting range is between $70,000 to $80,000 annually.

SCHEDULE:

The schedule for this position entails Monday through Friday day shifts. On-call duties, which may include after-hours and weekend work, will be rotated based on location.

Requirements:
  • One unit of Clinical Pastoral Education or Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in counseling with specific training in common spiritual issues in death and dying, belief systems of comparative religions related to death and dying, spiritual assessment skills; individualizing care to patient beliefs and varied spiritual practices and rituals.
  • Ordination, commission or credentialing in the state of employment.
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to provide comfort and support to patients and families/loved ones during a challenging time.
  • Valid driver’s license with current automobile insurance
  • Reliable vehicle
