What are the responsibilities and job description for the Temporary Employee Vega State Park (Free Housing Available) position at Colorado Parks and Wildlife?
We are excited to announce seasonal job openings at our state park! As a seasonal employee, you will join our team to provide visitors with an enjoyable and safe experience at the park. We have various positions available including park ranger, maintenance worker, and Aquatic Nuisance Species Boat Inspection Technician.
As a park ranger, you will be responsible for educating visitors on park rules and regulations, conducting safety checks, and providing assistance as needed. As a maintenance worker, you will assist with general upkeep of the park facilities including cleaning, landscaping, and repairs. As a boat inspector you will be in charge of making sure watercraft is clean, drained, and dried prior to entering and leaving the lake.
To be considered for a seasonal position, you must be at least 16 years old. You must be at least 21 years old to be considered for a ranger position.
