Southern Medical Group (SMG), providing services under Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH), is seeking a General, Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our large, robust team. This group practices all facets of General Cardiology and is the Premier Group in the region. While currently serving the Tallahassee, South Georgia, and North Florida Panhandle markets, the group will be expanding to Panama City Beach in the near future.

- Current composition includes 5 Interventional Cardiologists, 8 Non-invasive / imaging Cardiologists, 4 Electrophysiologists, 11 Internal Medicine / Family Medicine Physicians, and 3 Vascular Surgeons.
Southern Medical Group (SMG) was formed in 1988 by the merger of two prominent Tallahassee physician groups. The group is active in research and education and owns and operates a well-developed, independent clinical research institute (Tallahassee Research Institute), participating in over 100 clinical trials over the past decade and active in multiple new device and pharmaceutical studies.

Partnership with Florida State University
Building upon TMH's existing education and research partnership with Florida State University (FSU), the partners have announced a plan to build the FSU Health Tallahassee Center, a new facility that will offer advanced medical training and research opportunities.
The center will provide about 130,000 gross square feet of medical and research-related space distributed over five floors and is expected to significantly impact the local economy.
