- Group is supported by 8 Midlevels, Nurses, Medical Assistants, Technical Staff, Clinical Lab Personnel (moderate level complexity supported by external Pathologist), Front Office Staff, Billing Dept. Staff, etc.
- Midlevels also provide rounding coverage at hospitals. Duties include : conduct physical exams; assess health status; place orders; interpret tests; prescribe medications; consult with physicians as needed and refer to physicians for more complicated medical cases, or cases that are not part of the midlevel’s scope of work; monitor therapies to provide continuity of care; triage patient calls to evaluate patient’s problems; counsel patient / family on preventive health care; document patient information and care in medical record.
- ERCP and EUS training & experience strongly preferred.
