POSITION SUMMARY:
This position reports to the Central Regional Manager. The Competitive Administrator is responsible for making sure the competitive program not only meets but exceeds the needs expectations of CRYSC members, partners and guests. Additionally, this role needs to ensure programs and services within the region align with the overall mission, vision and strategy of CRYSC.
The Central Competitive Administrator will oversee the administration and operations for the Central Region of Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club’s 11U-19U advanced level programs, including, but not limited to, creating a seamless registration and billing experience for new and existing members, exemplifying the ‘Heart Behind the Crest’ in all communications with members, partners and guests, and flawlessly managing field reservations and training schedules.
This individual should be forward thinking and proactive, creatively seeking new ways to offer services and improve the program to benefit CRYSC members, staff, and coaches. They must also be highly detail oriented, efficient, flexible, and growth oriented.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Administration
- Execute all administrative duties across the 11U-19U competitive programs.
- Have an understanding of the 8U-10U Select program to help coordinate training schedules.
- Strong understanding of multiple softwares including LeagueApps, GotSport, Soccer.com, etc.
- Create competitive registrations and manage player/family accounts in LeagueApps.
- Manage player profiles in GotSport.
- Update and maintain accurate information that pertains to the Central competitive program on CRYSC’s website.
- Attend all staff meetings and any meetings pertaining to the 8U-19U advanced programs.
- Work with the Technical staff to implement player placement, coach placement, team assignments, registration dates and program information.
Operations
- Act as the main operations point of contact for the competitive program.
- Create training schedules for fall, winter and spring seasons; focusing on coaching conflicts and field availability.
- Work with the Regional Manager to obtain park permits for each season.
- Create home game schedules through the Colorado Soccer Association (CSA).
- Oversee parent volunteers; Team Manager, Culture Keeper, and Team Treasurer.
- Organize and lead training, weekly communication, as well as overseeing all in-season and offseason components of the program.
- Collaborate across programs and regions to support the overall operations of the club and step in when needed to assist others.
Communication/Customer Service
- Implement, maintain and exemplify a standard of superior customer service across all interactions with staff, members and guests.
- Respond to all emails and voice messages within 24 hours.
- Be available during all office hours to answer phone calls, assist members who visit the office, and assist staff members.
- Create a communication calendar for all ongoing communication to keep members informed.
Financials
- Ensure registration fees are correctly entered in the Club’s sports management system and reflected accurately on the Club website and other collateral.
- Understand the components of registration fees to be able to effectively communicate with new and existing members, and effectively address billing questions/concerns.
- Maintain a pulse on the program’s past due accounts throughout the season and constantly work to collect outstanding balances.
- Collaborate with the Regional Manager and Scholarship Committee to communicate the needs of families that require financial assistance and enter all finalized scholarships into player invoices.
- Submit accounts payable and purchase requests to the Regional Manager and Chief Operating and Financial Officer.
Additional Qualifications
- Strong understanding of soccer.
- Must be able to consistently type 65 wpm.
- Excellent organization, verbal, and written communications skills.
- Excellent people skills in a diverse environment.
- Ability to motivate others around you and work as a part of a team.
- Ability to lead a passionate and energetic team.
- Available weekends and nights as needed.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
- Be able to pass a comprehensive background check.

Salary range $55,000-$58,000 based on prior experience and fulfillment of qualifications.
