Job Summary
As a Raft Guide, you will lead groups of adventurers through thrilling river rafting experiences, ensuring their safety while providing an engaging and educational journey. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for outdoor activities. You will be responsible for creating memorable experiences while fostering a love for nature and adventure among participants.

Duties
- Guide rafting trips on designated rivers, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
- Educate guests about river safety, environmental conservation, and the local ecosystem.
- Communicate effectively with guests to provide instructions and enhance their experience.
- Demonstrate strong leadership by managing group dynamics and addressing any concerns during trips.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive experience for all participants.
- Perform pre-trip equipment checks and maintenance to guarantee safety standards are met.
- Manage time efficiently to adhere to scheduled trip itineraries while allowing flexibility for guest needs.

Experience
- Proven experience in public speaking to engage and inform diverse groups.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to cater to a wider audience.
- Previous experience in leadership roles or customer service positions is beneficial.
- Strong time management skills to ensure smooth operation of rafting trips.
- A passion for outdoor activities and a commitment to promoting environmental stewardship is essential.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $20.94 - $25.22 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 60 per week
