As a Echo Tech you will complete all functions necessary to perform quality echocardiograms, stress echoes, and in some location vascular studies.
Essential Functions of the Role :
- Supports patient care by performing echocardiogram procedures, educating the patient on the process and answering any questions they may have
- Demonstrates proficiency with the use of ultrasound equipment and associated procedures.
- Routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep the offices of physicians and other health practitioners running efficiently.
- Appropriately acquire echocardiographic measurements per protocol, create digital preliminary reports and verbally communicate preliminary findings to the interpreting physician
- Assures accuracy data for clinical reports, demographics and billing information for physician reports
- Shows a high degree of judgment and skill in use of sonographic equipment.
- Ensures that equipment is constantly functional and maintained for immediate use.
- Maintains records and reports on equipment and procedures performed

This position is a clinical position.
Physical Requirements
This position requires a full range of body motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 50 pounds.
