Job Summary
The full-time social worker supports the current social worker in promoting student success, providing supportive services, and responding to student needs by providing a variety of academic enhancements and behavioral interventions. The social worker also addresses the academic and career goals of middle school students, contributes to the creation of a positive and respectful culture for all students, and has a primary focus for students on IEPs.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Provides appropriate measures to meet the needs of individual students.
- Serves as the “go-to” available staff member for any student with a problem or concern.
- Communicates behavioral or counseling matters to families and staff, as appropriate, on a regular, timely basis, including crisis-related issues.
- Assists to maintain a safe and organized school climate as directed by administration.
- Collaborates with school staff regarding implementation of academic and behavioral interventions.
- Designs and develops interventions to address behavior goal setting.
- Provides second-tier intervention in cases of negative classroom dynamics.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
