Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinic Manager to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of medical clinic management. This role requires proficiency in office management, fiscal responsibility, and utilization management to ensure the clinic runs efficiently while providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Oversee staff performance, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members to foster a productive work environment.
- Implement and maintain office management systems to streamline administrative processes.
- Utilize electronic health record systems, Epic, for patient management and documentation.
- Monitor utilization management practices to optimize patient care delivery while managing costs.
- Develop policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency and improve patient satisfaction.
- Provides professional and technical support to staff and troubleshoots the delivery of patient care. Responds to requests from concerned patients regarding patient care issues.
- Fills in as needed for clinical floor
- Identifies training needs for staff and facilitates staff development. Actively participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of training, orientation, and education programs
- Leads regular meetings to discuss ongoing issues and evaluate feedback from clinical team
- Develops, implements, monitors, and evaluates quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with standards, laws, regulations, and procedures. Recommends new and/or revised policies and procedures to the leads/managers.
- Serve as the main contact for leads/managers for items of resolution regarding clinical staff
- Reviews and uses clinical and medical records to determine health care patterns and assignment of appropriate resources. Ensures corrective actions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in clinic or office management within a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical administrative support functions and fiscal management principles.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic is preferred.
- Experience in utilization management practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with staff, patients, and providers.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care in both medical and dental settings.
Education: Bachelor's degree in clinical field, or work experience equivalent
Experience: Minimum five years of experience in increasingly responsible clinical positions including some experience with supervision of clinicians.
Other Requirements:
- Current up to date RN, LPN, Medical Assistant credentials or other clinical license as required.
- Current CPR certificate.
