Applications Senior (Operational Technology)
Our Enterprise Real-Time Data Solutions (ERDS) Team is responsible for collecting and monitoring real-time data from our plants while supporting employees across our four utility services (natural gas, electric, water, and wastewater) to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. Our team uses AVEVA PI to collect and analyze plant data and build custom data visuals and dashboards to help inform decision-making and action around plant operations.
We are hiring an Applications Senior to provide customer support for our team's applications (SKF, AVEVA PI, EtaPRO) while assisting end users with understanding compliance data and its relation to their systems and reports. If you have experience with providing applications end user support, and performing requirements gathering to understand needs, we want to hear from you!
How Will You Make an Impact?
- Providing customer support for our team's applications, such as SKF, AVEVA PI platform, and EtaPRO
- Assisting users with understanding compliance data and how it relates to their systems and reports
- Reviewing or modifying data calculations used for compliance reporting or visualization dashboards
- Reviewing compliance documentation to verify all compliance requirements are met in the reporting process
- Reverse engineering existing reports to troubleshoot data issues or make enhancements, as well as multi-step calculations that transform data from data inputs to report outputs
- Designing data-rich visualization dashboards and working with customers to create new data points
- Developing tools to enhance productivity for operational groups
Who You Are
- Demonstrated experience providing end user support for applications; experience with AVEVA PI, SKF, and/or EtaPRO is valued
- Experience with requirements gathering to understand user needs and develop effective solutions
- Programming experience with VBA, Microsoft .Net, PowerShell, AFSDK, and/or Python is valued
- Experience with Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Databases is valued
- Experience with querying and integrating with time series and relational databases is valued
