Description of Work Unit
The mission of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences (CVMBS) IT Services unit is to facilitate the mission of a world-class college with efficient and effective information technology in pursuit of the college's goals in teaching, research, outreach, and clinical service of the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences.

Position Summary
As an important member of the software development team, this position will work independently and within a small team for the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
Primary duties include :
- Analyze, design, develop, and maintain software in the environment of higher education for the Students, Faculty, and Staff of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences using object-oriented programming, service-oriented architecture, and cutting-edge technologies, including ASP.Net MVC, ASP.Net Core, RESTful web services, JavaScript libraries, CSS, HTML, Entity Framework, and additional reporting tools.
- Design and implement database solutions using different database technologies, with SQL Server as the backend database management systems.
- Provide technical support and training to both internal and external users.
The successful candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States by the start date; The department will not sponsor a visa for this position.
