Description of Work Unit
Veterinary Teaching Hospital
At the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital ( VTH ) we exist to educate the next generation of veterinarians by providing exceptional veterinary care and service to the community every day. This work unit exists to provide administration and direction of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital and provide a support facility for service to the general public and referring veterinarians.

Join our dedicated Large Animal Barn Crew and be part of a team that plays a vital role in the care and upkeep of our state-of-the-art Johnson Family Equine Hospital ( JFEH ) and Livestock Hospitals. This hands-on position involves maintaining clean and well-stocked stalls, feed areas, and general barn spaces to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our patients. Crew members will work closely with veterinary staff and gain valuable experience in large animal care operations. If you enjoy working with animals, being active, and contributing to a team that makes a real impact, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

- High school diploma or GED .
- Driver's license or ability to obtain driver's license by desired start date
- Must be able to lift 50-80 lbs.
- Must have large animal handling and cleaning experience.
- Familiar with Biosecurity.
- One year of large animal handling and cleaning experience.
