Colorado Veterinary Specialty Group is a 24-hour specialty and emergency center located in Littleton. We are seeking a full-time friendly, efficient and professional Client Service Representative to join our team.
Job Description: The Client Service Representative (CSR) is frequently the first person a client encounters when contacting the clinic and as such is tremendously valuable to the practice. The CSR provides world-class customer service which serves to positively impact our business.

- Compassion for both pets and people.
- Previous experience in a veterinary setting, boarding facility, or other pet-related business is a must.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service, communication and listening skills.
- Ability to accurately manage financial transactions.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized.
- The willingness and ability to work with veterinary software (ezyVet) and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to work non-traditional hours- including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- The ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and be exposed to occupational hazards such as cat and dog allergies, noises, odors, and animal waste.
Duties and Responsibilities: The CSR plays a key role in the hospital's success, as his/her immediate interaction with clients impacts revenue, repeat visits and overall satisfaction. While this position does not have any clinical duties, the CSR will work hand-in-hand with Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians. The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:
- Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephone calls, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms
- Scheduling and confirming appointments
- Presenting and explaining fees, including processing of payments
- Managing medical records, reports and correspondence
- Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste and bodily fluids) in exam rooms and lobby area
Candidates must be willing to work a schedule which will include evening and weekend hours. As the hospital is a 24/7 facility, CSR shifts may begin early in the morning (5:00 am) and some end at 12:00 am. Experience working with animals is necessary and veterinary experience is a plus!
