Sales Analyst (Hybrid in Sherman Oaks)

The Sales Analyst will work closely with the Commercial team to play a crucial role in driving our business forward by providing in-depth analysis, creating detailed retail reports, assist in forecasting wholesale sales and analyzing customer behavior.
Responsibilities:

• Monitor, analyze and measure sales to provide weekly insights – at category, technology, SKU level – to share with internal teams
• Using POS trends and analysis, support account leads in developing sales forecast
• Use data to provide recommendations for improving performance and achieving targets – e.g., post mortem analysis of promo ROIs
• Assist in preparation and presentation of regular performance reviews with retail partners and key stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, fulfillment, demand planning) to ensure alignment and execution of retail promotional strategies
• Work with account leads to execute item setup/ PDP setup and maintenance
• Use available insights and competitor knowledge, identify action plans to address issues or activate against new opportunities by tracking all risks and opportunities

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or related field
• 2-3 years as a Sales Operations Analyst, Financial Analyst, Merchandise Planner, Demand Planner, or Inventory Analyst
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to present data in visual manner with clear “so whats”
• Target and/or Ulta experience will be highly valuable
• Ability to be in Sherman Oaks office 3x/week
