We’re currently looking for a dedicated and reliable Assistant Manager / Counter Person to join our team and help us maintain our reputation for excellence.
Position Overview :
The Assistant Manager / Counter Person will be responsible for assisting the store manager in implementing procedures at their respective store. The individual will be held accountable for performing critical tasks that are customary components of stores day to day activity.
These tasks include but aren’t limited to :
Answering phones, billing, opening & closing of the store, mixing paint, ordering / Inventory, aging, management of employees, communication with sales team, and establishing growth through conversion with phone / walk in customers, while also establishing relationships with key internal and external customers.
This position is a key growth position, and a great opportunity to learn all aspects of our business. In this position, the incumbent will be assigned a geographical territory in support of customers. Time will be spent demonstrating and facilitating keeping people motivated / managing them and keeping good store aesthetics. Training employees in the proper tasks of the store.
As a Counter Sales Associate, you will play a key role in delivering excellent service to our customers both in person and over the phone. You’ll assist customers with their needs, process orders, and help maintain the cleanliness and organization of our store. While no industry experience is required, a strong commitment to customer service and a willingness to learn are essential.
Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure your success in this role
Requirements :
Interested candidates should have a proven management record, excellent organizational skills, and an interest in automotive refinishing. The desired applicant should be a self-starting, highly motivated individual who works well in a team environment and with minimal supervision. Proficiency in Outlook, web applications, and other forms of data analysis is positive, as well as excellent communication skills.
Qualifications and duties :
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone with their product inquiries and orders.
- Process sales transactions and handle cash or credit card payments accurately.
- Pull, check, and prepare orders for delivery, ensuring all items are correct and in good condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including stocking shelves and cleaning work areas.
- Mix paint
- Provide knowledgeable assistance to customers by offering product recommendations and answering questions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
