What are the responsibilities and job description for the BILINGUAL Victim's Advocate (Part-time/As needed) position at Colquitt County Serenity House Project, Inc.?
The victim advocate is responsible for shelter activities and direct services to residents during shift, maintaining constant coverage of the crisis line and shelter while ensuring safety at the shelter. Job responsibilities include: documenting shelter activities, screening referrals, completing admission and exit forms with clients, basic advocacy, safety planning, security checks around facility, light cleaning and clerical duties, among others. This shift is primarily Saturday & Sundays but applicants must have a flexible schedule and willing to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and/or holidays to fill in for other employees during scheduled time off (approximately 24 hours/week). MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK ENGLISH & SPANISH FLUENTLY.
