Thermal Press Operator
Reports To: Plant Manager or Designee
Location: Export, PA
Job Summary: Thermal Press Operators produce a final product from raw materials, using precise weights and measurements.
Primary Responsibilities: Perform Safety Preflight checks, maintain work area using 5S practices, run 3-5 presses per press set, quality control, enter correct production quantities in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) database.

Responsibilities
- Read and follow production schedule
- Meet standardized performance levels
- Operate presses
- Record production and scrap quantities in ERP database
- Perform short-interval quality control checks as required
- Visually inspect wheels for defects, segregating defects into proper containers
- File raised mould lines as necessary
- Separate moulded wheels by part number into proper containers
- Perform safety and end of shift requirements following 5S practices
- Abides by all established organizational policies, rules, and regulations
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Must be able to stand or walk for 10 hours per shift (four shifts per week)
- Lift up to thirty pounds
- Basic reading and comprehension
- Knowledge of Epicor preferred but not required
- Basic computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
