Colson Group USA is seeking a 2nd shift Assembly Technician for the Jonesboro, AR manufacturing location.
There is a $2.00 per hour shift differential
Summary Description : To set-up and operate all assembly equipment in a safe, productive and efficient manner.
Duties:
- To set-up and operate assembly equipment in a production situation
- Set-up tooling and equipment as necessary to produce sub-assemblies and completed casters to routed standards
- Inspect and ensure shop order compliance
- Complete required documentation pertaining to manufacturing reports and parts identification
- Complete proper non-complying tickets as required
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred, must be able to read and write at acceptable level.
Physical: Must be able to bend, stand for prolonged periods of time, stoop and pull. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Specific Skills: Reading accurately and writing legibly is required. Must be able to read and interpret shop orders. Should know model numbers or have the ability to learn.
Experience: Prefer prior assembly experience.
