Position Overview
The General Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team, maximizing gross profit opportunities, and driving finance penetration. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills to ensure the smooth operation of the dealership.
Main Responsibilities
- Organize and lead sales meetings and trainings
- Run daily production meetings
- Promote gross profit while protecting departmental profit opportunities
- Work closely with the sales team to follow and execute the sales system
- Analyze and review leads using CRM Dashboard
- Follow up with salespeople on past due tasks
- Conduct quality checks with salespeople to ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor customer interaction and progress towards sale completion
- Create and manage sales manager and salesperson schedules
- Act quickly to resolve deal issues
- Ensure adherence to Colton RV sales department processes
- Communicate effectively across departments
- Drive deliveries through the dealership for a seamless process
