Colton's Steak House & Grill is looking for a Bartender to join our team in Van Buren, AR.
Bartender Job Description:
Bartenders are responsible for providing excellent service to customers and the rest of the bar staff. Bartenders will be responsible for making sure the bar is stocked with all the right things to serve their guests, and to keep the bar clean and tidy. The ideal candidate will be able to work well in a fast-paced environment and will also be able to handle any situation that arises.
Requirements:
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be available for all shifts during opening hours (weekends/weekdays).
- Must have a valid food service worker card.
- Must be able to stand during their shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.Must have experience in the restaurant industry or restaurant service industry.Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.**
Duties:
- Greet customers at the bar and make them feel welcome and attended to. Provide accurate and great tasting drinks and food. Be knowledgeable about menu items, prepared foods, and drinks that we offer. Be knowledgeable about our ingredients, processes, and equipment. Be able to explain how our food is prepared, cooked, seasoned etc. Be able to follow our standard recipes while making sure everything on our menu is stocked appropriately. Being able to keep a clean bar after every serving by wiping it down with sanitizer before each refill or glass of wine/beer/milk etc. Being able to keep up with inventory of all inventory levels throughout their shift ensuring they have all the supplies necessary for proper stock levels including mugs/bottles etc. Being able to follow directions given by your manager when performing tasks assigned by your manager being able to follow all health and safety rules at work such as cleaning at each station or following cleaning procedures at each station as well as following all company procedures for cleaning at Colton's Steak House & Grill stations
