Description
Colt Electro Optics (Colt Optics), a division of Colt CZ Group North America, is looking for a Product Manager.
Located in Brighton Michigan, Colt Optics is a global supplier of electro-optics, magnified optics, night vision systems and other weapons accessories and enablers.
The Product Manager is responsible for the product portfolio from product planning, delivery and marketing throughout the product lifecycle.
The key areas of responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Analyze customer requirements and market trends.
- Define product specifications, function and price points.
- Define the product strategy and roadmap that supports the Company’s vision and mission.
- Collaborate with other teams (development/engineering) to deliver high quality standard products that meet market needs.
- Create and maintain marketing plans and collateral which are used to increase sales, build brand loyalty and attract new customers.
- Perform product demos to customers and develop key relationships.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- BS Degree and/or equivalent experience.
- Must have experience in the firearms and/or weapons optic market with a concentration on professional product use.
- 5-10 years’ experience in a product management, business development or strategic planning role in the firearms and/or weapons market.
- Strong communication, presentation and customer service skills required.
- Project Management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects is a must.
- Must demonstrate strong leadership and management skills.
- Must be able to travel.
