Job Summary: Our company is seeking an Appliance Repair Technician / Installer to diagnose, troubleshoot, install and repair various household appliances such as refrigerators, ovens, washers, and dryers. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying issues, recommending solutions, and performing repairs to ensure that appliances are in optimal working condition.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues
- Provide cost estimates for repairs
- Repair or replace malfunctioning parts of appliances
- Perform routine maintenance on appliances
- Test appliances to ensure they are functioning properly
- Clean up after repairs are completed
- Keep inventory of tools and parts
Requirements:
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to move heavy appliances and parts
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass drug and background check
- Experience not required but preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with advanced repairs such as electrical or gas-related issues
- EPA Certification
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
